OMAHA, Nebraska - Quality Irrigation marks its 10th Anniversary in 2013 and has recently been presented with a 2013 Best of Omaha award in the category of Irrigation and a 2012 Angie's List Super Service Award. In addition, the company's owner and president Ryan Jardine has been honored by the Midlands Business Journal with a "40 Under 40" award. This is the second year in a row that Quality Irrigation has been voted Best of Omaha in the category of Irrigation by the readers of Omaha Magazine and the online voters in the Best of Omaha survey and the third year in a row that the company has been awarded an Angie's List Super Service Award, an honor bestowed annually on approximately five percent of thousands of businesses rated on the nation's leading provider of consumer reviews on local service companies.

"We're proud to receive such a resounding vote of satisfaction from our valued customers as we mark our 10th Anniversary," said Ryan Jardine. "We work hard to provide our customers with water-efficient residential and commercial sprinkler systems that provide just-right watering solutions for their unique properties."

In December 2012, the Midlands Business Journal honored Jardine with a "40 Under 40" award, which recognizes entrepreneurs, executives and professionals in Omaha, Council Bluffs and Sarpy County who are under the age of 40.

Jardine, 32, founded Quality Irrigation in 2003. Last year, the company was named Small Business of the Year by the Greater Omaha Chamber.

"We can't say 'Thank you' enough to all of our amazing customers who have supported us over the years," added Jardine. "We look forward to continuing to provide expert, reliable service to our customers for the next 10 years and beyond."

(Omaha, NE,) Karen Sokolof Javitch, well-known songwriter, playwright and radio talk show host announced today that her "Shake It for NObesity" entry in the Song of the Year.com international contest was awarded the semi-finalist position.

"I am thrilled that "Shake It for NObesity" has been recognized. The song is intended to influence healthy eating habits, promote exercise and be fun at the same time. Two very talented teenaged siblings - Grace and Jack Bydalek, recorded "Shake it for NObesity" for me," Javitch explained. "Their amazing voices and rap delivery resonates with other teenage listeners."

"When we first heard 'Shake it for NObesity' my brother and I knew this song could help young people in a fun way," added 16 year-old Grace, who has performed with symphonies, operas and high school musicals. "My brother Jack and I were rockin' out to it! It's a very uplifting song and I hope young people across the country get to hear it - and soon!" Grace added.

"We hope to shake it up and have the word 'NObesity' become a common word in everyone's vocabulary!" Karen adds. Go to youtube and watch the performance, which helped to raise money last year at a pancreatic cancer benefit in Omaha. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgNqVMBJTUQ)"

Karen Sokolof Javitch has raised over $300,000 for national and local charities though her original music and musicals.
