Strategic Air & Space Museum: Mars-gazing Party - Free Event!

0
0

NASA's Mars rover Curiosity is set to land on Mars. What will this rover do?

Curiosity will look for things that sustain life: signs of long-term water in the past or present and the right chemical ingredients for life (e.g., carbon-based molecules, the chemical building blocks of life).

Curiosity is scheduled to land on Mars on Monday, August 6, at 12:30 AM CDT.

That evening, Mars will be visible in the night sky with a telescope or with the naked eye. Just after sunset, Mars will be roughly 150 million miles away from Earth, and the Curiosity Rover will be only hours away from arriving to this distant orange dot in the night sky.

Take this opportunity to come to our Mars-gazing party!

Omaha Based
"Tony Stiles Show" goes International
On Premier Show!

(Omaha, Ne) Omaha's aggressive entrepreneur and philanthropist, Tony Stiles (31), today announced, that the premier of his newest radio show, "The Tony Stiles Show" that aired on Saturday morning August 04, 2012 on The Mighty 1290, has recorded 50,000 podcast downloads from 6 continents and 27 countries.

"The first time listener is going to hate The Tony Stiles Show." proclaimed Stiles. The Tony Stiles Show is a politically unbiased, revealing and provocative experience. "No propaganda, no narrow-mindedness, and absolutely no apologies! Pure no holds barred truth." Although the show boasts "no holds barred truth," this "truth" is destined to strike a nerve with both the political left and right due to its fundamental extremism, but as a result, is refreshingly thought-provoking. The new show provides a unique outlook on national and global political issues, in the eyes of the18-39 year olds by one of their own generations' representatives. It bombards listeners with something they're going to absolutely hate: the truth as seen by Tony Stiles. "I invite callers to challenge my positions, or in most cases, sing me well deserved praises of genius either live on air or in the form of a voicemail by calling" Stiles concluded.

Stiles radio career started in 2000 on Grace University campus radio. Stiles has come a long way since campus radio, having lived in New York working in the high energy New York City radio scene. Stiles has also co-hosted and guest hosted a number of radio programs. He has successfully started four companies and has had a hand in the development in dozens of others.

After a lengthy hiatus, the decision to return to radio came as a result of being approached by his fans who urged him to get back on the air and bring some "nasty" to political talk radio. He then realized that people are starving for somebody to tell them the truth without the sugary aftertaste.

The Tony Stiles Show is poised to become Omaha's (then America's) most hated political talk radio program. And who better to do so than a Libertarian like Tony Stiles who dismisses current political talk as "mediocre and pure nonsense.".
