Redstone Hires Ryan Horn as VP of Public Affairs Advertising and communications agency, Redstone, announces that Ryan Horn has joined the agency as Vice President of Public Affairs.

Horn will help clients create and execute public relations, government affairs and corporate reputation strategies as well as assisting Redstone's political clients with campaign consulting and ballot initiative campaigns.

Prior to joining Redstone, Horn most recently served as Senior Manager of Public Affairs for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. There, he directed the retailer's lobbying and ballot initiative campaigns as well as securing community acceptance of more than 200 controversial real estate developments. He designed companywide corporate reputation campaigns as well as serving as Wal-Mart's lead lobbyist in Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri and the Dakotas. Before joining Wal-Mart, Horn spent a decade in campaign politics in positions including Field Finance Manager for the National Republican Senatorial Committee and CFO and Staff Advisor to the Republican National Committee's victory effort in South Dakota. He has worked for congressional campaigns in Kansas, New Mexico, Oregon and Washington state.

"Ryan's experience is a perfect strategic complement for Redstone's already impressive background in retail marketing and political media," said Redstone chairman Phillip Webb.

Redstone is the leading purchaser of media in Nebraska and regularly among the top buyers in surrounding states. The agency places online and traditional media in 65 markets nationwide and produces hundreds of online, television, print and radio ads each year as well as managing social media for a wide variety of clients.

"In looking at the opportunity to join Redstone, I saw an organization that had a tremendous amount of horsepower to move and shape public opinion. I'm excited to put those tools to work for my corporate and political clients," Horn said.

Horn graduated cum laude with a B.A. in economics and political science from The George Washington University and served the Bush administration as Sr. Advisor to the Office of Entrepreneurial Development, U.S. Small Business Administration.

Redstone is an Omaha-based agency specializing in advertising, media, online and direct marketing. Founded in 1983, Redstone has also played a key role in a number of statewide and local political campaigns over the past two decades.

ASHLAND, NEB. (August 14, 2012) - The Strategic Air & Space Museum inspired over 3,000 elementary and high school students in a total of 12 week-long camps this summer. The subjects ranged from creating, building and programming robots to squishy, slimy, smelly science activities to high altitude ballooning launches that take student payloads into space. Although students were primarily from the Omaha and Lincoln area, there were participants from a number of other states including: Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Wyoming. Bruxelles, Belgium took the award for traveling the farthest to attend camp at the Strategic Air & Space Museum. Non-Profits...Half Off Advertising! (or more!)

Houck Transit Advertising, would like to introduce a new program called The Strong Communities Project. We recognize that local non-profit organizations are an important aspect of everyday life for many people yet they usually lack the funds and advertising outlets to promote these important programs.

Our goal in developing The Strong Communities Project is to enhance the partnership between local non-profit organizations and public transit. Interior bus advertising is an outstanding way for non-profit organizations to create program awareness for its employees, volunteers, donors and patrons that utilize public transit every day.

In turn, the advertising revenue generated from these interior signs is a way for Omaha Metro to offset their high operating costs.

Lastly, we realize that one of the challenges non-profits face is budget constraints, especially when it comes to getting their message out, that is why we are offering this program to qualified non-profit organizations for at least 50% off of our normal rate.

Please give us a call or email us today! Adam Myszewski Houck Transit Advertising 800-777-7290 www.houckads.com
