StrategicHealthSolutions, LLC (Strategic) recently achieved its third continuing education (CE) accreditation this year, making it an elite, multi-accredited national provider of CE for healthcare professionals.
The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®), a national accreditation organization for professional education programs, granted a two-year provisional accreditation to Strategic on November 30, 2012, as a provider of Continuing Medical Education (CME). ACCME CE is designed to change medical professionals' competence, performance, or patient outcomes.
The ACCME accreditation follows accreditations from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE®) and the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), awarded in June and September, respectively.
ACPE® authorizes Strategic to develop and provide Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE), which focuses on pharmacy-related CE. IACET authorizes Strategic to develop and provide Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which Strategic may use for CE that meets the company's standards for quality.
"The achievement of these three national-level accreditations allows Strategic to expand its education and training services and offer continuing educational credit to multi-disciplinary healthcare providers," said Linda Beiriger, Strategic's CE Program Coordinator.
ACCME, founded in 1981 and based in Chicago, IL, identifies, develops, and promotes national standards for quality CME. Strategic is one of more than 2,000 CME providers accredited by ACCME.
