Training your employees is critical to the a) optimization of operations and b) maximization of profits for your business. Simply, an improperly trained staff could mean that customers will buy from your competitors because of poor customer relation skills, poor knowledge about the product you are selling, slow production cycle, and improper fulfillment of orders.

Hoffman Strategy Group LLC (HSG) invites your staff -- human resources director and
personnel, chief operations officers, manager, employee retention specialist, etc.-- to attend this highly-interactive training seminar.

The training seminar is lead by Dr. Charles Owens, a nationally-recognized expert in human resource education and workforce development. Dr. Owens has over 25 years experience in developing comprehensive training programs.

Your staff will leave this 90-minute seminar with a draft set of issues and training plans in-hand to discuss with your business executive team.

To RSVP, please send an email to Jerry L. Hoffman at jerry@hoffmanstrategy.com. Let Jerry know the people attending from your business, along with their contact information.

We look forward to a very engaging and hands-on conversation!

Thank you for your participation!

Celerion announces the addition of a Containment Room at the Belfast, Northern Ireland UK facility. The new Containment Room will allow Celerion to develop programs that require studies utilizing biologics, as well as vaccines with primary and secondary containment.

The Containment Room is a modular facility comprising a negative pressure processing room which houses a Biosafety Level (BSL-2) cabinet. The addition of the Containment Room further enhances the current GMP licensed site by enabling the processing of live class 2 and class 3 biological products.

"The addition of the Containment Room, coupled with our ability in the Belfast clinic to recruit large numbers of study participants, places Celerion in a strong position to conduct studies requiring biologics and vaccines," said Phil Bach, Vice President of Global Clinical Research at Celerion. "Celerion's facility in Belfast continues to go from strength to strength. This announcement builds on the recent addition of the Bronchoscopy Suite and expansion of our services in the respiratory therapeutic area. The Belfast clinic is widely recognized as the Respiratory Centre of Excellence with experience in asthma, COPD, cystic fibrosis, and bronchiectasis clinical research."

Did you know each of your employees control over $200,000 of your business revenue!

Did you know that on average an Omaha company gives responsibility to manage annually $209,000 in revenue to each of their employees, who are earning $37,551? (U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis)

With that level of control over your company's revenue, your business should have a high-quality system of staff training and development.

More than that, is the knowledge and skill set of your employees aligned properly with your business strategy? Do you even know what your business strategy is?

By not clarifying these issues, your business may be under-performing relative to your competitors.

Hoffman Strategy Group LLC is offering a free 90-minute seminar that will help human resources staff, operation and division managers, and product specialists work through these type of questions in a highly-interactive session.

You will walk away in-hand with a set of issues specific to your company and a framework to build a workforce development plan. The purpose is to further this conversation with your business strategy and human resources teams.

Dr. Charles Owens, a national workforce development expert with over 25 years of experience, is flying in from Louisiana to work with you on defining issues and moving forward with a plan.

The seminar is held on July 31, 2013, from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM, at the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce office, 1301 Harney Street, Omaha.

Please RSVP prior to July 26 by sending an email to Jerry L. Hoffman, jerry@hoffmanstrategy.com. You may also call Jerry on his mobile phone - (402) 560-0722.

Keynote: "Un-Management: Confronting the Inconvenient Truth about Innovation"

Your organization is probably talking about innovation. You may even be investing in programs and initiatives with the aim to create more innovation. There is no doubt regarding its importance. Innovation is survival. But, is it actually happening?

In this provocative keynote, you will gain a deeper understanding of innovation and discover many common misconceptions about how it works. You will confront the inconvenient truth that much of modern management practice is anti-innovation and that innovation begins with culture. You will learn that leading successfully in an environment of constant change that demands innovation requires new thinking and a different approach.

Technical Session:"HackLab: Big Innovation Starts with Thinking Small"

Innovation isn't about big changes. And it doesn't even require a big budget, a big title, or any permission. The changes that matter don't happen overnight, they are the result of a lot of small, meaningful changes over time. Computer programmers and hackers have used this approach for years and we've reaped the rewards. Applying insights from the computer hacking culture, Talent Anarchy will help you start finding ways to innovate and make progress in your work, one small change at a time. Regardless of your title or experience, you can make big things happen through a series of smart, small changes (hacks). This highly interactive session is designed to provide attendees with actionable insights and tools for immediate application. HackLab can be presented as a keynote or in a more in-depth and hands-on workshop format.

This program has been submitted for a total of 4 hours of General credit to the HR Certification Institute for review.

This leads to devastating diseases, and can ultimately cripple local and national economies. With the help of people and organizations in Omaha, an Omaha based non-profit called Global Partners in Hope is making a difference in Mali, West Africa, by providing clean water wells for villages in some of the most isolated and impoverished communities in the world! One in five children die before the age of 5 in Mali, West Africa. Global Partners in Hope, a non-profit based in Omaha, is working to change that statistic. One way we do that is by building medical clinics in the rural and impoverished Bako Region of Mali. In the last 2 years we have built 2 clinics, and a third is nearly completed. Would you, your business, your community organization, or your religious community be interested in helping us fund the 4th?
